Cheap is a matter of how a guy has to look at things . Compared to the cost of an American made machine they are cheap . Otherwise none of it is cheap when pulling money out of the pocket . I put around 1200cad each for both of mine after being cnc'd earlier this year , with no frills . What I like about them and all my other machines is the low power consumption . I don't need power upgrades or lease a shop that has the high power output .
