Howdy,

I have been using KFLOP 4.33 on an old XP computer for years for my CNC Mill.

I now have a new to me Dell Hardened laptop computer with a fresh clean updated win 10 installed on it.

I want to use this new computer to take advantage of the touch screen for Jogging and such.

I do have a pendant I have used for years but it always tripps the overcurrent when I try and use it in the X100 (.010" per click) mode but works fine in the X1 (.0001" per click)or X10 (.001" per click)
Separate issue to look at some day.

I have Kflop 5.3.0 installed on the new computer. Since this is a double jump. New 64 bit computer and Win10 going to Kflop 5.3.0 from old XP computer with Kflop 4.33.
I figured I would ask the best method to approach this.

I looked in the Data folder and there are more items in there than my 4.33 version Data folder. So I am hesitant to cut and paste all the files from the 433ver to the 530ver data folder and overwrite them.

Hi Eric,

Keep a backup.

If you copy the contents of the previous Data folder to the new Data folder any new files should not be affecteded.

So I will copy everything in my existing old Data folder and paste it into the new data folder on the new computer with the new version of Kflop? And any files that have the same name should be allowed to replace the existing files correct?
