I've searched everywhere and have been unable to find a solution to this,.
I began with the problem of being unable to delete a program. On the advice from a different thread, I held down "Reset" and "Delete" while powering it on.
Now I've got a boatload of errors and none of the mode buttons work as well as the green "Ready" button.
I've attached a pic of the screen for reference.

with RESET+DELETE you wiped out all the parameters and programs form your machine
now you need the back up to put back in ,if you have
good luck

If you have a SRAM backup, use that to restore your data.

Thanks everyone for the quick responses.
I found the backup on the computer. I inherited this, so I'm not sure how it got there.
I've got two RS-232 ports on the board in the back of the machine. We've been sending programs over one of them. There is a PCMCIA slot, but I've been unable to get it to work.
Aside from entering it all manually, what's my best option for restoring the data?
Does that second serial port do anything beneficial?

Edit : I read in another thread that I should be able to restore it via the RS232, that it works the same as the PCMCIA slot.
What steps do I take accomplish this?

I'm unable to get to the ALL IO screen. None of the Mode buttons work. I'm still unclear on how to send these DAT files to the Fanuc anyways.

I've manually entered in the parameters for the 9000s and got some new alarms.
Mode buttons still not working.

The ladder is running now. MDI is lit but still unable to select any others.

I'm following the book to input PMC parameters, but I get stuck at step 10. I don't have an FDCAS to read from. My only other options are M-CARD, F-ROM & HOST.

...try this for RS232 settings

P20=3
P101=10001001
P102=4

Also, try using a 3 (serial comm broad) instead of 1 in Step 9 of 6.2.9 Inputting PMC Pars


...Remember you have to shut off and restart the Controller after changing Param's to take affect.
