    Probably a battery replacement then reregister/home

    The batteries have been replaced with new ones, But the machine still has alarm 212 and 302

    Bear in mind that I don't know this control. But it seems reasonable that you would need to re-home the system if the battery died and it was retaining positional information. That would mean that the control didn't really know the real position of the axis until you performed the re-homing sequence. To me, it seems like that is what you have not done... But, again, I don't know the Mazatrol system
