    Fanuc ext

    Hello all

Ok, I have recently changed employment, twice. In my original job I used G54 To G59 to set the lathes I was on and in the EXT , X is Zero, and Z is Zero

In the two new jobs, they just use work shift, GL10 P0 Z- ?????

But in the EXT , Above G54 etc, there are values in both the X and the Z .
Why would there be a value in the X?

I'm in the UK so the values are mm. The X has something around 320.0

    Any ideas

    Thanks

    Pete

Normally EXT should have zero values.
However, it does not hurt it it has non-zero entries. Just make sure that these values are not changed.
