Hi!
I switched on OKUMA LB15II OSP7000 (build in 1999).
Got this message. What is the problem? In memory board or I need to reinstall OSP.
I tried to insert install floppy, but instalation process not started.

You must initialise CMOS memory first. Then you can install software

Looks like I have only Bubble memory.
I have no CMOS in my lathe

OSP7000 control units doesn't have buble memory type.

How can I initialase CMOS?
I did not remember such procedure in Maintenance Manuak for my LATHE

- Power off
- Insert 1st floppy (install disk #1)
- Power on

when battery diskete load and try format - bus error
how iinitialize SRAM memory?

I am making retrofit. Bought CHINA TD1000 and 3 servo drice + servo motor. The price for all China kit was 2000 USD + 2200 USD work.
It is more effective then try to up old machine.
