    Okuma U100 RS232 mystery

    Allo,

We use on our okumas U100 the Read Write Get Put function (RWGP) to send data to a SQL database for various data points via RS232C communication.
There are no issues with this data. All looks good

The problem i have is when I want to use PIP function we get parity error on the same channel.

It seems the PIP function and the RWGP function use different RS232C parameters. But they are not visible in the parameter list....
What happens is if I set com parameters for RWGP i get parity problems on the PIP function.
If I set parameter for PIP function, I get the errors on the RWGP function...

Any idea why that might be?

    Thanks,

    PIP or D-PIP?
    They are different.

Where the "RWGP" philosophy comes from?
check once again if some D-PIP ( settings backup ) parameters are not different from write / read parameters.
