    slow performance issues

    I am not happy with the planet cnc performance on my plasma table. This is a new installation replacing mach 3. What I am seeing is that I am not achieving close to the desired feed rate as the controller appears to be processing each line of code as a separate move.
    For example this is a portion of my code, and or each line of code the controller will initiate a move with acceleration, and deceleration to almost zero before beginning the same thing with the next line of code?
    Any suggestions?

    Are you using sheetcam for nesting?

    not for nesting on this one, imported a dxf into sheet cam and posted it from there though.

    Probably some settings inside planet cnc software then. I am moving away from planetcnc now due to so many issues over the years. Hopefully you are a bit more lucky.

    This happens because motion planner optimizes your machine motion depending on the path blending tolerance and your max speeds, and max accelerations/decelerations.

    So in order that your machine reaches speed set in program with F value, you would need to set these values higher:
