Benchman 4000 CNC - Homing Problem

I have a Light Machines 1997 Benchman 4000 CNC Mill that uses a Windows 98 computer and interfaces through the Benchman software. I recently moved the machine using to another location in our shop and after the move, the machine started giving me an error whenever I opened up the software. The error says the machine needs to be homed before it is able to be used. I'm not sure how to do this since the X,Y,Z axis controls are controlled through the Benchman software itself, and the software will not allow to control the machine because this error message keeps popping up. I've tried to manually move the mill table (X and Y axes), and the spindle up and down (Z axis), still the issue persists and the error message won't go away.

Also the emergency stop button shows as activated in the software but I do not have it pressed. Please see the pictures attached, I'm not sure what to do to repair this error.

Any help would be immensely appreciated!

Check your software, pretty much all software CNc controllers require you to home the machine before you start. On the estop make sure you don’t have more than one or a door switch

Have you tried gently twisting the E-stop button to release it? It sounds like it might be locked. If the software didn't require homing previously, but is giving an error message now with the E-stop on, it might just be an erroneous error message, which happens a lot.

I'll give it a shot again, but I've tried to toggle the E-stop on and off without any luck.

I'm now wondering if it might be an electrical board/wiring issue since the board on this machine was repaired. However, all communications with the software including X,Y,Z positioning controls seem to be working correctly...
