    The delrin is coming out

    I Was servicing one of our CNC's today and noticed one of the delrin strips on the X axis has started to work its way out past the wiper. I have never tried to reattach this before any tips? The manual lists glue as a spare part for these, does anyone know what it is?

    Hi daza,

    It is very likely ECTFE (aka Halar®, Turcite B ®) not delrin and I am 99% sure epoxy adhesive is used but a quick search should confirm.

    quick fix will not last. best is to take a part x-axis. clean and bond the new turcite and refit by scraping .
