Hoping you can point me in the right direction here.
I'm trying to machine engrave on the OD of a cylinder using the A axis rotary on my Fadal to rotate the cylinder in order to wrap the engraving.
The machine is a 1995 904-1 VMC 2216.
Do you know if there is a canned cycle or Macro that will facilitate this type of engraving on the Fadal?

...It's a little tricky to do and it has been awhile sense I did this A axis Engraving on a Fadal 4020HT machine.....Cam Wrapping is one part of programming needed with a Fixed Subroutines L9201 for the Engraving part.
read thru the Flat Cam part of manual here will help to understand the

Then, look at my Program samples of a Sine Wave(IN MANUAL SOME WHERE) and a program for A axis Engraving I wrote for my name. This should help to understand what your Program should be like. Double check these programs using Graphic's or Dry Running 1st.
