Fanuc 0M-C enable macro B issue

    Hi All,

I have been working on enabling macro B on my Fanuc 0M-C but it seems like it does not "stick".
    (param 912 Macro A is also 0x00)

    My sequence is as follows:

machine on -> pwe 1 -> estop -> parameter 913 set to 10000000 -> input -> get p/s 000 error. I was in mdi mode when trying to edit it. Write protect key (allow write).
Have tried a re-start and re-boot (as that is what error 000 means) but that does not seem to help.

Al_The_Man Seems to remember the following:
"... many of my notes are no longer around, there is a parameter to set to allow it to be enabled which I cannot find at the moment. will keep on looking."

Perhaps somebody else seems to remember it?

p/s 000 alarm means that the control power has to be cycled.

Yeah i did that. but it does not "stick" . I tried just turning it on and off with the putton on the frontpanel and by rebooting the system by means of the mains switch.
Parameter 913 stays at 0x00; i will try to do the parameters that phucrobusl sent. Perhaps it is missing another parameter to allow 913. I'm not sure.

Are you leaving the other bits (x) unchanged?
    902-x1xxxxxx macro A
    917-xxx1xxxx macro variables 600
    912-1xxxxxxx macro executer
    913-1xxxxxxx macro B

So far i have only changed 913. But i will try the above parameters. I will leave the x unchanged.

I just checked my backup and current settings is this:
    902-x1xxxxxx macro A = 01000000
    917-xxx1xxxx macro variables 600 = 00000000
    912-1xxxxxxx macro executer = 00000000
    913-1xxxxxxx macro B = 00000000

Re: Fanuc 0M-C enable macro B issue

So I tried it on the machine and 902, 912 i'm able to change. However when i do 917 or 913 it does not stick.
I made a video to show it happening:

    Any ideas?

What is your software? You may not have the eproms for the macro B option.

Re: Fanuc 0M-C enable macro B issue

0453 - 03 is the software. My option list shows that 0453 does not support macro B.
