Good day,

I recently bought a Gildemeister CTX 200 E, with these dimensions on the chuck:

Main spindle (spindle H)
Spindle nose dia. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . mm (inch) . . . 120 h5 (4.7244)
Spindle nose dia. in front bearing . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .mm (inch) . . . 85 (3.346)
Spindle boring . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .mm (inch) . . . 56 (2.205)
Chuck dia. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ...mm (inch) . . . 140 (5.512)

With it being my first CNC lathe, I have a hard time finding the chuck I need for this machine. The picture attached explains the dimensions, a little bit better. My question is how big of a chuck can I fit on the lathe, and how (by using a backing plate or something) and can someone point me to the right chuck for this machine. Sorry I'm a little new and haven't had a proper introduction to CNC lathe work. Also, what is the spindle nose, since I searched everywhere and can't fit it in any of the categories (A2-5/A2-6/B2-5, etc).

Thank you for your replies.

Kind Regards,
Bob
