Okay,

I'm a little out of practice. I could use a sanity check to make sure I'm not heading in the wrong direction.

I got an old Centurion 6 ML15 lathe. I bought it broken as usual because that's all I can ever afford. Got it booting up, but it seems to be stuck in E-Stop. Starts with a 450 error, and Reset isn't clearing it. I pulled the e-stops off and fiddled with them to make sure they are making contact when they're supposed to.
So NO, and NC are both working. But the, "01 EStopped" on the diagnostic page is still showing 1. I don't know exactly how to check voltage, because the electrical schematic I have only shows 2 wires going to the e-stop buttons but there are actually 4.

Could it be showing estopped just because the drives aren't resetting? And what other faults can I investigate for other reasons the drives won't engage?

Or does the Estopped need to show 0 before reset would do anything?

Does anyone have an idea how to jump out the estop circuit to test if that's the problem?

Thanks!
-Steve
