    Fanuc 15m accel/decel problem

    Hi guys

There's a problem with fanuc 15m CNC machine, which is creating a squashed circle towards 45 degrees.

I have tried so many things in parameter, I have not found a solution.

One of the modifications I have made is 1478 (automatic corner deceleration) and it has shown some difference.

but whatever I put any number into 1478, the cnc machine doesn't move smoothly at each point and it works as if you put G61 code.

anyways I still got titled or oval shape circle and no solution for accel/decel parameter.

please help me solve these problems.

    Thank y'all

Check your leadscrews, it could be the connection between it and the motor, or thrust bearing end play.

May even be play in leadscrew nut(worm ball bearing).

Try turning/moving by hand with power off.

Elipses instead of circles is indicative where the reversal direction slop is taken up.

firstly, thanks a lot for your reply.
I have checked the leadscrews and thrust bearing, there was a little amount of play.
    I'll fix them through re-metalworking.
