    Help!!-Citizen L20-turning an oval diameter

    Anyone have any resources for information on how to program a oval diameter?

    For reference, I need to turn a .142" by .122" oval diameter.

    Mill it using C axis ....
    Basic lathe operation is to be turning diameters only

    It is a Mitsubishi 635LC controller and it is a 1999 Type VII 5M7 L20.

    Is there a way to use the G12.1 function with a cutting insert or can this only be used with live tooling?
    I keep getting Op error, Helical or Illegal G-code:Mill alarms...
