C76 settings for Probe 2 in UCCNC

I have one of those inexpensive touch down probes as shown in the first image below. I have it wired to Port 2, Pin 15 on my C76 board. The probe base is wired to Pin 15 and the probe alligator clip is wired to COM. I get no response to the indicator light on the DIAGNOSTICS screen when I touch the alligator clip to the probe base.

On the C76 on Port 2 I have the two jumpers set to COM=5V as shown below. I don't believe I touched these during setup a few years ago as I have nothing else coming into the Port 2 inputs.

I suspect these jumper settings are the issue. Could someone confirm before I go experimenting?

    Thanks,
    BH

The probe is just a switch.
Maybe this info is useful: https://cnc4pc.com/blog/post/wiring-...tches-on-a-c76

Got side tracked from the project. Back on it now.

Thanks for the links Arturo. That should help.
