    Gifted new coolant system - help get it working, please

    I have a manual Bridgeport Mill. I was gifted a new coolant system which has a PLC solenoid valve. I can hook up the air lines and all. However, might any of you have any ideas on if, and how, to power up the solenoid to get it working?
    I'm an old hobbyist with to much time on my hands! Any help appreciated!

    You might want to ask that in the Bridgeport Mill forum. This forum is for benchtop machines.

    Only a suggestion.
    Have to power supplied from the spindle ON circuit, and an inline ON/OFF manual switch to the relay.

    Spindle ON, power supplied to manual switch. Coolant can be turned ON/OFF
    Spindle OFF, coolant is OFF

    Superman, Thanks for the suggestion. I decided to by pass the solenoid and just use a manual valve. Thanks!
