Hey

I'm planning to build small online engraving shop. I would like to engraving on big mugs, beer mugs and so on.
Is there 4 axes engraving machine or is it better to use small 4 axis CNC mill?

Are these ceramic, or glass? For that, a laser would work better than a CNC mill or an engraving machine with a spindle. If they're metal, then you could engrave them with a tool in a spindle. It's possible to engrave glass and ceramic that way as well, but it's problematical, since you're generating abrasive grit that can damage any machine that's not specially hardened to withstand it.

Laser is option to...
They all are made from aluminium and are anodized. I would like to make deep cuts, they are giving extra dimensions to the cup.
I think I have to overpaint engraved text... some alcohols are acidic...

I don't think Laser is what I need but many thanks for offering. I think spindle is for me...

You can check cnc spindle +rotary ,it is main for wood rather than glass , i guess that 95% ,you should choose laser after compare .

i see ,if you marking aluminum beer , it need fiber laser +rotary on steel .
