    Talking CNC Taig mill/lathe

I had a little fun on the weekend and set up my mill as a lathe.[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Munq_hXxTs"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Munq_hXxTs[/ame]

I think he just mounted a turning Chuck to the table, Not the entire lathe

    Hi Mark

Have you tried using the Mills Y axis for moving the Cutter instead of the Z axis?

    Hi Willy,
Using the stock Taig parts set up as they are the Y axis can only
    center the cutting tool.
I don't think there would be any benefit to setting it up to use the Y axis.
If your seeing something that I'm missing please let me know.

    Mark
