    having trouble finding this part

I have a 3/8-10 acme lead screw and I'm having trouble finding a 3/8-10 nut with this style
    http://cgi.ebay.com/Acme-1-2-10-Delr...QQcmdZViewItem
    .

I tried googling but all I found was hex and flange mount style. Could somebody point me to a site that has this style of acme nut?

    Thanks a lot

I think you'll need to make your own, as those are probably made by the Ebay seller. Or pay someone to make them for you. I've never seen a nut like that anywhere before.

You could look at mcmaster.com page 1053, they have some acme 3/8-10 nuts that are extra large so you can machine them, perhaps that would be an option?

I am not sure what your app is, but I built a machine some time ago with 3/8 acme with a plastic nut and found it quite limiting. Had to retrofit to a larger size as the shaft got hot and the nut stripped out. Speed and load must be kept quite low.

But he isn't asking about plastic, he specified Delrin..

Not to make too fine a point of it, but the ones we destroyed were also Delrin. We were also using stainless shafts. Point is, they don't like speed.
