i want to buy a laser machine ,i want to know what is the best speed for cutting 20 mm of acrylic and wood , and how many watts do i need for that ?

With a chinese machine I think you will need 120 watts and 2-4mm ?sec , but i dont think it will cut it, the 120 laser is not very stable. I wold buy the chinese machine and a coherent or synrad laser of 80 Watts, (lots of money $14000) that will do the job.
When we want to have a 2O mm cut part we do for cuts in 5mm and then stick them one to the other. Easy and fast.

Hi Waseem what is your budget and the fact that you won’t get customer support for a Chinese machine is the first thing you have to consider for yourself in Kuwait. I know a few people in Kuwait who have Chinese machines and they have become more of a show piece.

Opt for a reliable machine that would not give you a lot of troubles and would do your work fast.

I can recommend you a few machines if you tell me your budget and the speed you would like to cut 20mm wood or acrylic.

Please note that all the woods are not the same so the cutting speed and finish would differ according to the wood type.
