    if you were to do it , then no better time than the present , the amount of work out there is rediculous , i know a few guys who have bought machines and are feeding off the overflows of other places , they have their plates full and they are just leetching work at this point

    Yeah, the shop I work in now is like that.

    As was the one before it, and the one before that...

    I can't help but wonder when it's all going to dry up.
    Everyone's saying that manufacturing in Canada is going down the tubes.

    the amount of work we have is stupid , we are beyond our capacity and have been for a good number of years , so
    it's not going to happen anytime soon in my opinion , if i left my job today i'd have a multitude of places to roll my box into tommorrow

    Yeah, that's a while.

    Would you say that the average wage of a CNC guy has gone up, or down?

    it's gone up without a doubt , the competition to get or keep competent people is to our advantage .
    i don t plan on getting rich like this but i am living quite confortably

    Yeah, I've got nothing to complain about financially.

    And, I'm kinda glad I don't have to quote jobs.
