Talking Switching from one computer to another.

I have been running my Bobcad program from my desk top computer, and it is on xp. I now purchased a lap top with Vista on it. Does anyone know if I need to get another authority code number from Bobcad to have it reinstalled into this new computer.

    Thanks

You have to call BCC and deauthorize the one you are running, then once you get it installed on the other PC you will have to call them back and get a new number, assuming it is V21 or lower

Thank you for that fast reply! I figured that I would need to do something that required calling them back.
I just hope that I don't have to pay!

From my understanding, if you have V22, you can load it on a number of computers, but because of the dongle, you can only operate on one at a time. Well. specifically, the other copies act as demo copies without the dongle. If you save a file to them, you can't open it in the legal version. Also, if you open a file created in the dongled version with the demo version, you can no longer open it with the dongled version. Hope that makes sense.
