I'm at that stage. I have a good running machine and I can make code for simple stuff by painfully and slowly measuring a drawing and determining x and y coordinates that tell my machine how to cut anything I have the patience to make a code for. Is there a favorite free or low-dollar program for taking my line drawings (such as a guitar body) and convert it to g-code? My SketchUp will convert it to DXF. I just need something to go from DXF to G. I know there are lots of them out there. But I figure there's probably one that more people like than others in the same way people like Mach. Thanks.
