I have been using AMANA router bits. They seem to last as long as Onsrud and are a great deal less $$$. I have been engraving with the same 60 degree 1/2" bit for several months now. I bet the tool has at least 16 hours on it and cost about $15 mail order.
i have just bought some from drillman1 on ebay. so i have not used any yet.
here is a item # for a sample 180185680029 they run in $ from aprox $6.00 to $6.75. the shipping is pay the highest price shipping [aprox $5.00 to $6.00]
after that any other items you buy are free shipping. the bits are new. hope this helps. greg
ger21 great link for V bits. Thank you.
