Monarch 10EE 1950 - Can it be converted to CNC?

    Hi,

I have the opportunity to buy a 1950 Monarch 10EE in good shape for the equivalent of USD1650. I think the price is great for what I get, but I have yet to see a CNC conversion of this machine. Have any of you seen it, or done it?

Jan, IMHO, converting a 10EE would be like converting a 1927 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost to a 1985 Chevrolet. lol

    Hi,

I went for a Boxford Model A with screwcutting gearbox and power cross feed. I paid around USD 400 for it, and it has cooling and a lot of equipment. The paint needs to be stripped off. I had to disassemble it to get it down to my basement. Looking forward to get started!
