    Thumbs up FAPT LADDER III Manual

    Hello, does anyone here know where I can find a copy of the Fanuc FAPT LADDER III operator manual? $5000 for the software and you don't even get a flippen manual. There is an online version but you need to be able to read Jap!
    Oh, did I mention that Fanuc tech support is a waste of time!!

    Yes I am having a great day

    Could you please repost that manual?

    I was also not able to find a FAPT LADDER III Users Manual, and when I tried to click on this link, it said the file is no longer available.

    Could you please repost the file so I can access it, I would most definitely appreciate it.

    Thanks.

    I am not able to download the manual due to some access control "facility" of my organization. So, I would be thankful if somebody sends it to me through e-mail (I hope it is less than 10 MB):

    Thanks.

    You can get it here. But hurry, I'm only going to leave it up for a couple weeks.

    This is just a trick of the eye. The A4 page is not configured to squeeze all those relays and coils across the page so it continues that net on the line below and gives a linking number so you can trace it back.

    If you viewed this in LAD it would be on the same line.

    Played with it for a couple of hours i couldn't work it out

    you can allways do something like this to 'get around' the problem.
    *EDIT* the timer should probably be before these nets.

    I too have two questions regarding this program.

    I have installed ansi.sys but the NC, NO and coil F-keys do not display correctly on my pc any one know anything about this ?

    according to the manual you can press <SHIFT> to access coil set & coil unset functions but i cannot get this to display

    Aha finaly.

    Found the solution in the manual.

    You can only create these 'long lines' in MNEMONIC FORMAT.
    to do this export file to nemonic
    F8 -> MNEMONIC EDIT
    F1 -> SOURCE PROGRAM -> MNEMONIC FILE
    ENTER DATA
    F1 (EXECUTE)

    Now you can open the file in a text editor edit the net you want.
    (you may need to play with this to understand the format.

    For instance to add a NO switch
    AND X1.0 ;(SWIT1 ) [SWITCH 1]
    To add a NC SWITCH
    AND.NOT X1.0 ;(SWIT1 ) [SWITCH 1]
    Then import it back into LADDER.
    F8
    F2
    ENTER DATA
    F1

    Now when you view the source file it will display the multi lines
