cutting circles with 4 arcs in place of 5 million steps?

So I didn't have this problem when using cut 2d but vcarve pro 7.5 is not cutting circles using the four points I see in other codes. It is cutting lots of little steps, so on large jobs the number of lines is hundreds of thousands. Is there a setting somewhere to fix this?

The problem is with how the circles were created.Did you create them in V-Carve Pro, or import them from somewhere else?
Also, if you stretch a circle, it's no longer a circle and will not be able to use 4 arcs. You might want to try arc fitting.

Hmm. I did import the vectors instead of opening the file. Right now I am cutting the job in small batches to get it done I will try opening the file instead of importing it to see if that is a fix. Thank you for the fast reply

It was the file being saved as DWG. The files saved as DXF work as they should.

    Thanks for the help.

I wanted to follow up just in case someone else has the same issue. What I thought was the problem was not at all. For whatever reason the cad would randomly produce the circles with gobs of little lines. Selecting node editing will show the bad circles and they can be corrected in vcarve with "fit cures to selected vectors" in edit objects. It then produces the code with g2 or g3 and not 400,000 strings of g1.

What are you drawing the circles in?

That would be Delta Cad 5.0 and 8.0.
