    G76 Canned cycle

    Hello,

I am having a small problem with the Threading G76 Canned cycle.

    G76 P020060 Q50 R0,02
    G76 X10.160 Z-20.0 P920 Q50 F1.5

The problem is the first line P020060. The 02 is the amount of passes(cuts) after having reached the final X diameter. In this case 10.16

The 00 is the parameter to go out of the thread in a slanted way. It comunicates with the feed. So if i put 10 instead of 00 it will go out of the thread by 1.5 mm. So it wil start going slanted at Z-18.5 mm and end at Z-20.0

The 60 is the thread angle ( 60 degrees ).

Now my problem is that even though i use P020060 It still goes out slanted instead of perpindicular and i can't find anything about it in the parameters. This comes quit anoying when needing to thread close to a bigger diameter.

I have 2 lathes! One does it right and the other does it this way.

Can anyone help me with this isue?
    Thanks

Check to see if parameter # 5130 is set on. That is automatic thred chamfering for the "T" control. Which control do you have?
