I'm very new to machining- I have used a Bridgeport knee mill to make a few parts for a bicycle project.
I'm daydreaming about using a CNC mill to create cars for my model train layout.
I work in N scale, which is 1/160th scale.
N scale is rather too small for my tastes for creating the new models. My hope is to make a prototype that would be just under a foot long (ie 10 x the size of the final product).
Is it a simple process to change the scale? My hope would be to use this prototyping to start with but also, later, to offer that same car in other scales such as HO (1/87.1 scale)
Thank you for the advice.
