That's odd, if double-clicking a DXF to open with Draftsight isn't working, then start Draftsight and File > Open and try opening the DXF from within DS.

Could you also post one of your DXFs so we can see if it is corrupted?

I made it in to a dxf file instead.
The file you posted is a dwg Not dxf, very different files, not all programs are able to open them properly, try to open the dxf file instead
