    hi,
    I have a carbine 15 and the 3 heads.
    I also have many others - animals, birds, buildings, disney, d-torso, vehicles, etc.
    (many of the animals can have the head built separately from the body)

    How do you take a 3D form and slice it up into interlocking pieces?

    I don't know. 123dmake has a tutorial on making 3d puzzles. Also, I don't have an elephant in dxf.

    I use in splines " Section " for making boundary and modifier " Shell " for thiknes. Notches I make through boolean operations.
