Hi

I picked up a Kasuga Mill with 3 axis cnc control and the cnc doesn't work.
I am looking for any info or Manuals, schematics etc. for this.

The control panel is MicroSWINC / white sunstrand controls and data.
and the motors and driver board are Westamp
The mill is a Westway - Kasuga

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks for the Correction. Looked at it again and it is a MicroSWINC don't know how I got Swing out of it.

The control system is White/Sunstrand MM1-144 and the Drive encoders and motors are WestAmp

Those controls were used on many machines, mostly in the late '70's & early '80's. Often machines were asembled and sold by a "builder" using components from wherever the least expensive pieces could be found.

We had a lathe that used a "Leal?" cast iron frame from Spain, Siemens motors from Germany and MicroSwinc controls from the USA. The nice thing was you could adjust the Z axis if threads were a bit off by twisting a dial on the face of the control panel. Didn't have to go thru the "tuning" process. That brand was H.E.S.

You might find what you need at a used machinery dealer. There's a source somewhere on the 'net that specializes in old manuals but I hear they aren't cheap.
