Hi,
We have a CNC lathe, brand Takisawa with a Fanuc 3TF conntrol with Fapt. The machine works great in milimeters, but we can not change it to inches; on the setup screen we can change the TVON, I/O and SEQUENCE, but we can not change INPUT UNIT from 0 to 1, we tryed to program G20 code but the machine gives an error. Does anyone knows how to deal with this??? I hope so...

have you tried to input PWE = 1 in mdi mode, before you make a change ? then try to change input unit, or G20 also in mdi. remember your programs and tool offsets will need to be reloaded in inch values............the control will not convert them (only parameters convert)
