    Smart Raster

    Hi,

    Which are the laser engraving software which is doing smart raster - engraving only withe dots on the image or generating Gcode only for what must engraved not for any pixel. Could you, please, give some guidance on this?

    WinCNC and Linkmotion do smart raster and I suppose the Testra package does it too as it was bundled with all ULC laser tables up until a few years ago.

    Don't know any more but your looking at around $1200 for any of them.

    Are you sure about Linkmotion? What version? Is LM300 doing Smart Raster?
