    Upgrading Dolphin

I had to re-install Dolphin due to my engineering arrogance than manuals are there not to be read but as coffee cup holders.

Anyway, I've installed V6.0.0.6 again with the security key and all is fine. Upgraded to V7.0 and its all ok, but it falls over going to version 8, so I went back to 7.0

So, I have another 6 (yes six) installation disks and two security disks (with different security numbers). Is it possible to upgrade and if so how far and at what cost please?

The versions I have are as follows:

    V6,0,0,6, C2001.
    V7D (Beta), C2001.
    V6.5, C2002.
    V7, C2002.
    V7, C2002 (duplicate?).
    V7, C2003.
    V8, C2004.
    V 8 4 1020 C2004.

Incidentaly, I'm running Win 98 cos my AutoCAD is installed on it and me predecessor nicked the disks. I have other PC's I can use if it's a problem (WinXP).

Do you have an email or phone number or anything that Dolphin's database could look you up by?

Certainly. I shall PM yourself with my details along with my predecessor's who was probably the guy who bought it (now sadly deceased). It's installed on the same PC at the same company so you should have our details I'd immagine.

I do, however, note from the disks that Dolphin have a Kilmarnock, Scotland office. I'm in Manchester, England so if you'd rather I contact them please let me know- I'll forward my details to yourself though since you were kind enough to reply and await your instructions.

    Many thanks!

Thanks mate, already contacted Anne and got a superb service- she had all my details and everything we'd ordered on file- even had copies of our custom Post Processors and Macros which had been ordered years ago. I am now a very happy chap
