    hobby cnc 305oz stepper question

    any one know what degree steppers these are?or how many steps it takes to turn 360 degrees?I just finished soldering my electronics together and was trying to get some software to work to test my motors out.Im trying to figure out the steps per inch.I have the motors set to 1/2 stepping and im using 3/4 10 acme threaded rod.Also what software would you reccomend to test the motors with?I downloaded kcam to try but i am having troubles with the software.

    1.8°, 200 steps per rev. If your using XP, try Mach3. 1/2 stepping with your screws gives 4000 steps per inch.
