Best Table Setup to Load Materials

Does any body has seen the table that can be lowered to load steel plates?
The question is related to a TM3 of 8' by 20' that I will be putting together.
So what is better, to have a fixed table or one that can be lowered?

I've seen a similar table used to load stacks of material into a shear. If I remember right, the lift device was a hydraulic scissor lift. Might be easier to buy a forklift.

But with plates or sheets of material being 20' long, a forklift will not be enough to lift the plates evenly. The material will curve a lot.

    Any other ideas?
