    adding rotary to tm-2

    Hey guys
First time on the site. Already have learned a few new things..
I do need some help. I have a tm-2 that came from the factory without the 4th axis pre wire. I bought a used brushless 210 rotary table and need it up and running. I beleave I can find a servo amp and cables to make this work.
There are 2 wires i beleave i need. A short wire that feeds info to the amp from a computer board above ,and the wire assembly going out of the amp to power the servo, this wire is attatched to the machine with a female pin connector facing outside. the 210 already has the long wire with the male pin connector on it ready to go.
I am assuming I can get these wires from haas.
My main question is. Do I have to pay to set setup my parameters to accept the new hardwear? Or can these be changed by myself for free? And what parameters will I need to change?
I called the techline and asked, I got some cockey guy on the phone that pretty much told me I need to spend $2100 in new haas parts to make my 210 table work. Then they will tell me how to set my parameters up.
    thanks for any help
    dave

Your going to need a code from Haas to turn the 4th axis on ... call your local dealer and see what they have to tell you .. and the cost is

4AXBLMM 4th-Axis Drive and Wiring only, for brushless-type rotary tables $2,095.00 suggested retail

    HRT210-CNCB 210 mm (8.27") Servo Rotary Table
$7,995.00 suggested retail (this is what you bought used)
