Does anyone know how to print out a simplified tool list from featurecam. All I need is something like this.
T1 = 1/2 carbide EM
T2 = #3 centerdrill
T3 = #21 drill
T4 = 10-32 tap
Etc.
I don't need 5 pages of extra stuff
Thank You Kevin

A few options. Open tool list page and print screen. On save NC page there is an option to save a tool list, then print it from that file. I think at FM support ther was a plug-in to print tool list at the start of the program.

I just output the file to desktop, open it with MS Word, and get what I want out of it.

try this website for addins...there is a "toollist" addin that will force your nc file to output the tool list at the beginning of each program that is made.
You should find the install info on the web page as well.
Look under the "support" column for addins and go from there. These are a great feature and are quite useful....
Go to tool description , click and drag all the crap after the tool list, and press delete key. then print out the list of tools without the crap (DETAILS) . this will print out what you do not delete, when you close the file and re-open, or re simulate , the entire description list will come back as full, you need to delete for each simulation until you are satisfied with that list. Just a "windows" delete of highlited details that you don't want.
setupsheet.bas
This is the best addin you will ever find for tool list. It gives you an automatic list of the tools used in your current document with the click of the mouse. It will be in HTML, but all you do is click on page and edit with microsoft word. I will look very professional.

Speeeeeed I downloaded the addin but im not sure how to use it in featurecam. I have gone to the addins option in the menu and ticked the setupsheet.bas addin that I downloaded. now what?
Add a button for it to your taskbar:
Right click empty space in taskbar->Customize->Commands->Macros->drag Hammer icon onto taskbar->close customize windows->click hammer on taskbar->set macro and icon->Done!
It seems much more long winded when you type it out than just doing it. Good luck.
To remove drag icon off toolbar and click "x"
