Any Updates on your X3 Conversion?

I have started my Ball screw conversion.

I have an X1 - Bought it new already CNC'ed. I am new and never milled before buying it. So figure it was easier for me to buy with it already installed.

Work bench grew since that picture. This weekend my wife and I installed a proper bench. I now also have a lathe that sits near the mill.

Just received our new X3 from Lathemasters today. He has them in stock but not listed on his website. Give him a call if you are interested. It only took 7 days for it to arrive. So far nothing looks damaged and mill motor powers up nice and smooth.

We will be doing a CNC conversion with servos and Gecko 320's. More info will be posted once everything is cleaned up and the mill fully tested.
