YASNAC LX-3 on METHODS Slant 50 Rapid Traverse issue!

I'm not sure if it's a simple software problem or a factory setting, but the rapid traverse is WAY TOO SLOW when a program is running and G00 is invoked.

When jogging in rapid, everything flies around at a good speed, but when a program is running (even a simple test to move it around) it's the slowest thing ever, really hurting cut times.

I've been digging through the manuals (which have you jump around between to get an answer) and can only come up with the following....

Under PARAMETERS, #6219 needs to be set to 1 (currently at 0) in order to change the Rapid Traverse rates parameters.

In order to change #6219 to 1, you have to move a switch on the mainboard to 1 from 0. Either I'm doing something wrong, or this isn't the correct step.

I believe that after setting #6219 to 1, you should be able to cursor to, and change the #6280 and #6281 parameters (Z and X rapid traverse settings)

Problem is that I can't even get #6219 to change!

I hope I'm doing this wrong and there's some simple fix, which is why I'm reaching out to you all. Any information and advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance.

In MDI mode go to settings and change it there.
    Works on Tee,Mazak, and KT21 w/ LX3 control.
Yaskawa has free PDF files online for all their controls and drives.
    I sure wish Fanuc did.....

You need to go to "SET" Page, type in#6219 and then cursor down.
Change parameters through MDI and parameter page. If you set the #6219 to"4" you can run machine machine for testing, etc. Change back to "0" after testing.
