    Exclamation Mach & cnc router interface problems

    Hello;

    I was wondering if someone could help me. I am setting up a cnc router to mach3mill demo version to test out. I have a mechatronic 3 axis board. I have it connected via parallel port to my computer but cannot get any movement of the router. I am not suring if it is the parallel port that is not being recognized or transmiting info or if I did not set the initial parameters for Mach properly ( i.e. ports & pins--input /output, motor tuning parameters)

    Also could someone direct me to easy to understand mach mill explaination & implementation tutorial etc..

    Thank-you
    BN

    First, check the port address. Then check that each pin is assigned to port 1, and not port 0.

    Do the DRO's on the screen move when you try to jog? If so, check the voltage on the direction pin at your board. It should change from 0V to 5V when you change directions.
