    Smile Techno post processor error

    Good day,
when I post my toolpath, I get this error message, "warning-post rotary axis assignment ('rot_on_x') overwritten by operation", what does it mean, my toolpath is a surface highspeed waterline, I use Mastercam X2 mr2 SP1.

    Thank you

It thinks you are trying to rotate the part like on a fourth axis and this machine def has an issue doing that. did you set another Tool plane then program?

Hi cadcam, my WCS is top and my CPLANE is top also, I only a CNC 3 axis.
I run the toolpath on my piece of wood and everything went well, I got this error 2-3 times when I was posting, really strange.
    Thank you

The C plane is not top, it says it is not saved. look at all planes this may have something to do with it. Go into each of the toolpaths, go to planes and make sure in there they are all top.

Hi Steve, when I did the toolpaths, it was saved, the reason why it is not saved, it's because I reopen the drawing to make the screen capture.
    Thanks

Look in planes in your toolpath parameters, planes is a button at the bottom of the toolpath page go into there and make sure all plane are top. from your picture the cplane is not on top. I was not talking about saving your part.
