    Surfacing Bits...

What bit should be used to surface a table once it's built? The spoilboard surface is 3/4 MDF on a 4'x8' table with a Porter Cable 3 1/4hp router. I wasn't sure using a fly cutter in a router was safe or if some other tool should be used/intended for this purpose. I tried to search but didn't find any information on what bits others were using. Thanks.

If you don't want to spend $300 on a spoilboard surfacing bit, just use the biggest straight bit you can find.
