    taper thread cutting

    hi all
    this is my first posting on this site and hope someone can help.
    i operate a mazak vertical centre nexus 510c with mazatrol 640m controls
    my problem is that i need to machine bspt and npt internal threads.using a single point tool. can anyone help with a sample program for this or is there a program i can down load to work it out.

    I know nothing about a mazatrol controller but I could send you a g-code file of a tapered spiral. If interested what threads and cutter diameter?

    the thread size is 1.5 npt using 27.oo mm dia cutter
