I am trying to work around an issue in a Dynacnc Dyna4000 control box. I am looking for some generic information and any insights anybody might have.
Now if anybody has had this problem and gotten it fixed, I would accept specific help!
Anyways this control box reports back about a third of the voltage
that is actually coming in via the tip volts line. (I put a meter on
tip volt wires while it while running.) So the z axis keeps rising trying to chase the voltage.
The plasma cutter I have puts out raw tip volts.
The control box has a selection for raw volts or divided tip volts.
I have tried putting a low target voltage in trying to fool it, and I
actually hit my target volts with my meter for a second but then the z
axis dove into the metal. So that didnt work out.
So what is the dividing ratio that other plasma torchs use that dont
give out raw tip volts? I am asking because I am going to try to make
a tip voltage divider for my plasma cutter and change the control box
setting over to the divided volts setting and see if that helps.
Can anybody offer any suggestions. The box works fine without the THC
on thick plate, but I need to work with thin plate with THC also.
For those who suggest going back to the manufacturer..
I tried, they denied, said change things that I have said on internet
about table and then they would help. But that is not happening.
Thanks to anybody who can help.
