    Thanks, I currently have it in my dad's shop so I was able to get away with building it big.

    The little misses wont let me have the garage something about not wanting to park her car outside. Thought it was selfish but what can you do.

    Nice machine! It looks like you used prox switches for as your limits; is this the reason for using the plc?

    The main reason for PLC is to give me more inputs and outputs without having to go through an additional break out board and buy another PP card to get them.

    Another benefits as far as I see is I can use 12v relays which I had with out doing anything special.

    So, to understand your plc, it is completely run through mach3?; or are you using ladder logic in the plc?

    I like your idea of using a plc, it just got me thinking of how it works...

    I have added a rung for a vaccum relay for the shop vac.

    Y22 is the reset/e-stop from Mach.
