Found these in a photocopy machine repair shop just now. Besides these steppers, i've oso salvage 3 other tiny steppers and 1 gigantic transformer. Plus these 3 bigger steppers, all under usd20....

Anybody knows anything about these 3 motors shown here? I know its voltage/amperage/resolution and it's Astrosyn stepper normally found in photostat machine (old type). But what about its torque?? hope it's around 100oz since every1 is talking about this figure for CNC....

Besides torque thingy, I suspect the 2 smaller one with 24V 0.2A ratings one, are "unusable" for CNC. It has too high rated voltage where i could hardly double up or more the voltage for faster response curve! Any hints or tips on how to utilise these 2 smaller steppers in CNC app???

try to turn the shaft bay the hand. if its hard to spin them maby thay can be used in cnc. i have cnc ruinning with stepper motors from lexmark dot matrix printer. nema 17 about 200 oz ( incredible ) .
try to hook them up and see how much curent and volts thay need to work nice. experiment a litle
